Massage and Controls

The 49-inch L-shaped track reaches from the back toward the seat. Daiwa lists 27 automatic programs and six manual modes: kneading, tapping, knocking, Shiatsu, sync, and rhythm. You can also choose from six speeds and three width settings. Voice control is listed in English and Chinese.

For lower-leg attention, the chair lists calf massage and foot massage with airbags and rollers. Heat and zero gravity positioning add ways to settle into a session.

Fit and Space Planning

Daiwa lists a user height range of 4 feet 8 inches to 6 feet 6 inches and a maximum user weight of 300 pounds. The footrest extends 6.3 inches. Confirm comfort for each person who plans to use the chair rather than assuming one fit suits everyone.

Allow at least 3.15 inches between the chair and the wall, and measure its full reclined footprint. Upright dimensions are 64.8 × 36.0 × 49 inches; reclined dimensions are 74.4 × 36.0 × 33.1 inches. The listed chair weight is 294 pounds, so plan its route into the room as well.
